Many sports systems have a characteristic drone and boom - not so the Milltek. A Milltek system will ensure that you have the power and the looks but the sounds stay outside!
Resonated: This includes an other silencer between the catalyst and the rear silencer giving a quieter exhaust note.
Non-Resonated: There is no front silencer as outlined above; this will give a louder exhaust note. A non-resonated exhaust can be used on the TDI to give a more petrol sounding car.

Milltek Hi-flow Catalysts & Downpipes
Combining the larger diameter of the downpipe and less restrictive hi-flow sports cat reduces backpressure so close to the turbo outlet resulting in the turbo spooling up sooner and more immediate power delivery. In some applications, it can cause boost to come in around 1000rpm earlier. Something that needs to be experienced to fully appreciate!

APR Exhaust Systems
APR's TT Exhaust is a stainless steel, mandrel bent, cat-back exhaust. APR's exhaust begins after the factory catalytic converter with a 2.5" pipe, and continues back to the backbox and two elegant semi-oval tips.
This exhaust really wakes up the TT and gives it a deep snarl that a sports car of the TT's caliper deserves. With TIG welding, fully stainless construction, and CNC'ed hangers, you will not find a higher quality system on the market. On the 180 TT since APR's is a dual tailpipe system you will need to get the rear lower valence from a 225hp TT.
